Role Overview:


The Media Planner is responsible for translating client strategy into effective and measurable paid media campaigns. This role is central to planning, executing, and optimizing digital media initiatives across a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in media planning, a sharp analytical mindset, and a passion for delivering results through data-driven decisions.


Key Responsibilities


Media Planning and Strategy


  • Develop and manage media plans aligned with client objectives across digital platforms including display, social, video, and emerging channels.
  • Make data-informed recommendations on targeting, budget allocation, and channel mix based on campaign goals and audience insights.
  • Support internal teams with market research, forecasts, and strategic media rationale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Client Success) to ensure timely asset delivery and adherence to platform specifications.
  • Support campaign setup processes including trafficking, QA, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure campaigns are launched on time and within budget, maintaining accurate records and updates throughout.
  • Monitor media performance using dashboards and analytics tools, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Create post-campaign wrap reports with actionable insights and benchmarks for continuous improvement.



Support for Sales and Strategic Planning


  • Assist with building media proposals, pricing models, and sales materials through strategic insights and planning support.
  • Contribute to integrated marketing proposals alongside internal departments.


Qualifications



  • 4–6+ years of experience in media planning, campaign operations, or digital marketing in a media agency or similar environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-channel campaigns using platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, DV360, or other programmatic DSPs.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with campaign metrics, budgets, and pacing reports.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field preferred.
